State Government investment in Port renewal paying off
The State Government’s efforts to renew the Port Adelaide precinct are paying off with a number of projects already revitalising the area.
The Premier is hosting today’s Cabinet meeting in Port Adelaide – the second in a series of metropolitan Cabinet meetings being held this year.
Member for Lee and Infrastructure Minister Stephen Mullighan said it was the perfect opportunity to show off some of the recent developments in the Port.
“Through Renewal SA, our aim is to have more people living, working, investing and spending time in the Port and we are well on the way to achieving that,” Mr Mullighan said.
The Member for Port Adelaide Susan Close said she was looking forward to showing her Cabinet colleagues first-hand some of the impressive developments in the Port.
“The ongoing rejuvenation of the Port is helping to grow the vibrancy of the community and is further showcasing the area as an accessible tourist destination,” she said.
