The Mansion of Fashion Family Hits the Market
The cliff top mansion built by the family behind fashion chains Katie and Millers is being put on the market and is expected to go for around $5.5 million this November.
The clothing company owned by Ian and Sarah Miller – whose brands include Millers, Katies, Crossroads, Autograph and City Chic – generated a profit of $12.97 million in the 2012/13 financial year.
The property is located in Douglas Pde and commands one of the most dramatic cliff top views that is available in the suburb of Dover Heights. Outside there is a 20m swimming pool and gym. The inside of the home includes five bedrooms and iPhone automation.
According to Mr Miller, the property is given unique value by the privacy that it offers and the connection with the sea outside.
BHR Estate Agents and Sotheby’s International Realty will sell the property, designed by architect Brian Meyerson, at auction in early November.
